In a third round of grant allocations through United Way of Rock River Valley's COVID-19 Emerging Needs Fund, 25 non-profit agencies in Winnebago County received $250,000.
The money is being used to alleviate difficulties and obstacles presented by the coronavirus pandemic, including the purchase of PPE, support for essential needs, counseling services for children, cash supplements for low income workers, and much more.
